Ive always used Atlas when they were on 7th st in Austin. They were fantastic!..back then. Something has definitely changed. I dont know if younger family has taken over but everything has changed. Attitude, service quality and the follow up. It all seems to be strictly about collecting money now. I went about 2 months ago to their new shop, from Bastrop and got an alignment on a 1 ton chevy. Right at $300... I planned to install new sway bar bushings after the alignment and asked if it affects it and was told no. Because I didnt want to pay twice if it did. (I still have not touched anything on the truck since the alignment) So they went ahead. After the work and payment they told me my bushings were "getting old" and may not last long. They appear to be just fine to me and were fine before. aging? Probably so. Truck drove fine before, I had replaced balljoints and tie rod ends so I wanted to align it. Either way, Ive never seen any shop actually do an alignment knowing any work may be needed. Makes no sence as its not possible to do so correctly. Regardless, I drive this truck a couple times a month. Probably have less than 500 miles since the new alignment. Ive noticed that the

I stopped here with a huge problem with my tire and these guys did not hesitate to bring me in, treat me like family and get me back on the road in a timely fasion! They dont make em like these guys anymore, they are a diamond in the rough! Talk to Memo! That guy is so very helpful and profesional knows his stuff and treated me very fairly! A honest and genuine shop which is hard to find nowadays. Everyone goes above and beyond to resolve the issue and is professional when truck companies try to be sleezy with payment. Fixed everything in a quick manner and actually fixed the truck (unlike other shops that say fixed and actually didn’t). Has a fabulous waiting room that is clean with air conditioning. One of the cleanest repair shops I have ever been to. Everyone treats you like family, the kind of family you actually want to hang out with. A hard working crew that is respectful to customers. The entire crew here at atlas treated me and my wife very well. Super accommodating to us even with difficult circumstances. Memo, Matthew, and Andrew in the front office went above and beyond anything I could have asked. Fabian and Miguel were crazy good techs working in the truck. Fast service, helpful and friendly. If they can’t do something they will straight up tell you that. Even try helping find somewhere to accommodate you. Wouldn’t think twice about returning here if I ever need more work done. Truly awesome staff and perfect work..
